The Wisdom House Ressources:
Perspective Papers
Perspective Paper N°1
Bringing the Mind into Health Policy
Bringing neuroscience and contemplative practice together to explore the role of the mind in public-health policy and more reflective, humane leadership.
Perspective Paper N°2
Words Heal, Words Harm
Bridging millennia-old teachings on skilful speech with modern leadership and organizational communication.
The Wisdom House Perspective Papers explore ideas that can help us lead, serve and make decisions with greater wisdom and humanity in a complex world.
Each paper brings contemporary evidence—from fields such as neuroscience, psychology, behavioural science, public health and leadership studies—into conversation with contemplative practices and enduring traditions of wisdom. Drawing on research, professional experience and critical reflection, the series examines how inner development shapes our relationships, institutions and capacity to create meaningful change.
These are evidence-informed perspectives, not declarations of settled knowledge. They are intended to question familiar assumptions, connect disciplines that are too often separated, and propose new frameworks for discussion, practice and empirical investigation.
As part of The Wisdom House’s contribution to shared learning, the papers may be downloaded and used free of charge for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes.
